The Bridge-Bit Loafer started off as a concept design back in 2019, and took design inspiration from the Clifton suspension bridge. Following a year of meticulous refining, the Bridge-Bit Loafer was officially released Spring 2021 as a limited edition piece. Shortly after it was nominated for footwear designer of the year award.
Made by traditional British artisans, using sumptuous and sustainable Cactus leather, this design echoes tradition, originality and modernism.

Why Cactus Leather?
To begin with, “what is Cactus leather?” Cactus material, also called “nopal” leather, is a vegan material made from the cactus plant. It has a lovely soft texture, similar to that of caviar grain leather, and is supple but strong. It is also known for being very breathable and praised by industry experts for its ability to offer the luxury market with a leather alternative.
